BRASS ANCHORS

Brass Anchors are a type of Wedge Fasteners which are widely used for medium level application.  The beauty of this type of Anchor is that it uses characteristics of comparative softness of Brass when used with screw for steel or stainless steel.  Brass being a soft material in comparison to the other metals like mild steel or stainless steel,  it has easy workability and production.

It is much thinner in diameter than other medium load anchors and provide much better pull out strength.  Brass Anchor is also known as Messing Duebel in German, Chevilles Laiton in French etc. and is a loved product in European Countries where its applications range from Ceiling to hold structures for cabling.  It is generally produced in Metric threads from M4 to M16 but Brass Anchors are also produced in inch threads for customers in USA and Israel.

The Most important factor to understand in Brass Anchors is its internal geometry and production consistency which provides it high quality performance.  The material quality to be used is or major concern since it affects the workability and performance of the anchor

The IFTC and INDOFIX Group has been the first company to produce brass anchors in India in 1990 when it was considered to be the prerogative and specialization of the European companies.  It was a big challenge for the Indofix Group to produce it but with the persistent efforts, research and development in the production methods and product design,  Indofix group succeeded in a product that was at par with the quality standard of the European Companies.  With great inhouse testing facilities, the Brass Anchors are tested for its material quality, its dimensional stability and pull out before these are shipped out.  All the brass anchors thoroughly inspected so that the customers of Indofix Group get 100 percent usable pieces.  Indofix Brass Anchors have the highest possible pull out in the current producers in the world and different designs and qualities are offered to customers for all level of utilities guaranteeing desired performance.

The uses of Brass Anchors are in the Ceiling Industry where the false ceiling are hanged on these which take care of various kind of ceiling and structures.  When M6 or equivalent anchors are used for the ceiling,  the Indofix Brass Anchors are tested at 60Kgs of load which is almost 4-6 times taking the safety factor and excellent product for ceilings.   A small hole of just 8 mm which is just about 30mm deep is done in solid concrete and a screw or thread rod is screwed at about 3Nm of torque which provide maximum load capacity.   When these anchors are used on an average matrix of 1 meter or 0.8 meter they provide the cheapest and the most stable structure for hanging any type of false ceilings.   The Internal expansion provide a stable anchoring which helps even to some level of vibrations.

Indofix always recommends customers to use high quality of anchors since by saving a little money on the quality of anchors,  a high risk is taken.  If we take an average cost of about $50 per square meter for a false ceiling ,  the average cost for the Brass Anchors is just about $0.12 - $0.20.  If a contractor or a customer even saves a few cents by using a cheaper quality of the anchor,  they are compromising their investment of minimum $50 or more and even taking risk of physical injuries or accidents.  So, it is wise to use a Indofix brand of anchors which will help protect your investments and reputation of your projects.

Corrosion Types For Brass Pipe Fittings Manufacturers To Contend With

Erosion or degradation of metal tubing and fittings is due to a variety of causes and situations. The makers of brass pipe fittings explain when and how corrosion happens and how to deal with it. Corrosion is typically the product of the consistency of the water in the Brass pipe fitting and the natural setting. This article would refer to brass tubing, as they are widely used and have been used as plumbing fittings for years.   The hard-drawn domestic brass pipe is built in three forms- Type K – HPHT   L-MPMT type   Type M-PLT Form K is a high-pressure/high-temperature pipe with green stamping (thickest wall). Form L is a low pressure/medium temperature pipe with a blue stamping (medium thickness) Form M is a low pressure/low temperature pipe with red stamping (thinnest wall and commonly used) Manufacturers do not mark soft annealed copper or brass coils used in private home building. This threaded brass pipe fittings should be mounted using flux and size...

What Are The Essential Properties And Uses Of Brass Fasteners?

A Brass Fastener is a piece of machinery used to temporarily join at least two or more items together. The clasp, for the most part, is non-changeable in nature; however, they can be used to protect or release the protest on several occasions without causing damage to the protest.   There are various BrassFasteners Vendors in the United States, and consumers can select the one that best serves their needs. As compared to zinc or bronze, brass has stunning acoustic properties that are notable for greater flexibility and solidity. Properties of Brass Fasteners Some of the highlighting applications and properties of brass fasteners that you can consider include Sturdy plan – Brass metal can be moulded into a number of shapes based on the specifications. They are also helpful in the treatment of material harm. Less clasping torque – Brass latches are remarkably smooth and adaptable, requiring the least amount of clasping torque. With the proper drive and weight, they can be tr...

What are Threaded Brass pipe fittings ?

All the brass pipe fittings are made with thread on them to better fit the system they are manufactured for. The threads vary in sizes, Pitch, Thread Count, Taper thread, straight thread. Threads like NPT, BSPT, BSPP, NPTF, UNF, UNC, JIC,. Etc. all vary in Thread Per inch, & taper as per the specification of there association or as per   there country’s specifications. Pipe fittings consist of pneumatic Brass fittings, hydraulic fittings,. Etc. pipe fittings in itself are a vast variety of fittings which go from plumbing fittings to air brake fittings to air compression fittings. Pipe fittings can be made from different materials like steel, copper, brass, bronze, stainless steel, nickel plated brass. INDOFIX has a long time experience in manufacturing of Brass fittings, Compression brass fittings, pneumatic brass fittings. Supplying these fittings all over the globe for the last 20 plus years, INDOFIX has made a reputation for itself when it ...
